Frequently asked questions

Microblading is used on eyebrows to create natural crisp hair strokes that mimic the growth of your own eyebrow hairs. Using a very fine configuration of needles pigments are implanted into the dermal layer of the skin which allows for an extremely natural healed result leaving crisp fine hairs. It is considered to be a form of cosmetic tattooing.

Because microblading allows for less pigment to be implanted, it does have the ability to fade away completely over time. The client’s health, aftercare and skin type does play a role in the longevity of the cosmetic tattoo. Generally within 1-3years a colour boost is recommended.

I work according to your skins undertone and overtone to match the colour exactly. I also look at your eyebrow hairs natural colour and work accordingly.

For eyebrows it generally takes between 7-10days to heal and scab, sometimes depending on overall health 14days. In this time aftercare instructions will need to be followed religiously. Eyeliner takes between 3-5days and lips between 4- 6days. All cosmetic procedures take between 30-60days for true colour to show which means even after the scabs have come off your skin is still going through a healing process.
